Bron brought to my attention yesterday that this vote couldn't be left until the Captain's Meeting because you all are trying to finalize your teams. Couple of quick points below also.

Dates coming up: Sept 5th Ironman Tourney. Sept 12th, Captain's Meeting will be at 10am....Open Hockey will run before that starting at 8am cost will be $5, first 3 goalies free. Sept 19th Season Starts.

I know I don't have all the Capts emails so if you know of someone either wanting to be a captain or is one and has not received this email, please forward it to them.

One item not going to happen is the Gold player draft. I know of 3 gold teams that are already in and i haven't heard from 3 others that could return.

Cost last season was a total of $1500/team, expect that to rise a little and I will have that price hammered out by the meeting. Further on the money issue; what i'm going to do to avoid the trouble I had last season is to set up a payment plan and I'll go over that more at the meeting.

Ok last item, the one to vote. I need your vote as to which of the four options below you are voting for:

Option 1: Allow two Gold rated players per silver team and 1 silver rated per bronze team. Players are to be designated at the start of the season and cannot be swapped out or changed.
Option 2: Allow one Gold rated player per silver team and NO silver rated players per bronze team and again players must be designated at the start of the season and cannot be swapped out or changed.
Option 3: Allow one Gold rated player per silver team and one silver rated player per bronze team and again players must be designated at the start of the season and cannot be swapped out or changed.
Option 4: Keep the status quo. Allow two Gold rated players per silver team and 1 silver rated per bronze team. Teams are allowed to have a replacement on the roster but only the set amount are allowed to play any given game.

Option 1 was the winner.
2 gold rated players per silver team, 1 silver rated player per bronze. They must be specified at the beginning of the season and there can't be more than that specified amount on the roster...which is the only change from last season.
There will be an updated ratings list available by the Sept 12th 10am Captain's Meeting. As well as right here on the messageboard at this very moment.
